ClearCorrect® in Las Cruces

Crooked teeth can cause their share of problems. Misaligned teeth are embarrassing enough to cause us to stop smiling, and they can even affect how our mouths work and act. Most people dream of being able to straighten crooked teeth, but traditional metal braces may seem too daunting and invasive. The high costs associated with orthodontics can also make a straighter smile seem out of reach.

Enter ClearCorrect®: a new type of clear aligner that slowly moves crooked teeth into position for a beautiful smile with minimal hassle.

How Does ClearCorrect® Work?

ClearCorrect® uses a system of clear teeth aligners to gradually move teeth into their correct alignment. The trays are meant to be used nearly all day, so they are designed to blend in with your smile.

There are a few steps to undergoing ClearCorrect® treatments:

Step 1: Get Evaluated

Your dentist will evaluate your mouth and take photos of your teeth to create your customized ClearCorrect® aligners.

Step 2: Start Wearing Aligners

ClearCorrect® aligners should be worn at least 22 hours per day, seven days a week. They should only be taken off to eat, drink, or brush your teeth.

Step 3: Change Aligners Based on Phases

There are four different phases to ClearCorrect® treatments as teeth begin to slowly align. Each phase lasts about three weeks, and new aligner trays will be created to allow teeth to shift and straighten.

ClearCorrect® vs. Invisalign – What's the Difference?

Many patients wonder about the difference between Invisalign and ClearCorrect®. They are both clear, customized aligners used to straighten teeth. However, ClearCorrect® aligners are made of polyurethane resin, while Invisalign aligners are made of a thermoplastic material.

There are several advantages to using ClearCorrect®.

  • People generally say that ClearCorrect® aligners are more comfortable than Invisalign.
  • ClearCorrect® aligners are thinner, making them less detectable compared to Invisalign aligners.
  • ClearCorrect® is less expensive than Invisalign.

Are ClearCorrect® Aligners Painful to Wear?

Once the ClearCorrect® aligner trays are in place, there’s little to no discomfort. However, the aligner trays may cause minor gum irritation or a feeling of dryness as patients get accustomed to how the aligners feel.

What Results Can I Expect From ClearCorrect®?

By working in phases, ClearCorrect® offers results that appear gradually but are designed to last long-term. Teeth that were crooked for years will finally sit where they’re supposed to and will have improved appearance and function.

How Much Does ClearCorrect® Cost?

The price of ClearCorrect® aligners varies depending on patient needs, but most treatments fall between $2,000 and $5,500. Some costs may be covered by insurance as orthodontic care.

ClearCorrect® also offers packages that feature unlimited or a certain amount of trays, allowing providers to purchase as many or as few trays as needed.
